Well-known island restaurateurs Thiery and Patrick, owners of the original Saladerie, have set up shop in the former-Thai eatery known as JAO for an all new concept eatery. The space hasn't changed as much as you would expect with a dark interior of tabletops and small bar offering casual setting for a well-known menu of island specialties. Just steps away for the original location, locals regard the new space as even better than before
The Food
Famous for their casual spin on fine dining, a mostly continental menu of Italian and French comfort food includes a line-up of gourmet shrimp dumplings topped-off with mint leaves and sesame oil, goat’s cheese salad on bed of tomatoes and select pasta dishes with a kick. Main course is a mix of grilled beef and creamy chicken dishes as well as a hefty duck breast served with duck confit French fires.
Last Word
Harbour Saladerie takes a new location near the original for an inventive menu of gourmet classics on the go.
